Ocean pollution is a great danger to wildlife. Plastics thrown into the ocean breaks down into small pieces releasing toxic chemicals. The broken plastic particles take centuries to disintegrate in the seawater. Sea bird, turtles, fish, and other marine life mistake plastics as food and starve to death.
This video provides just a glimpse of the major problem and highlights the importance of recycling plastics.
Hopefully, people will realize soon that a mere ignorance about recycling can cause death to wildlife and possibly human.
